School workshops: social entrepreneurship
Maslaha is an award-winning charity offering a number of flexible interactive workshop packages to secondary schools and colleges to equip young people with the skills, confidence and perspectives to navigate some of the most pressing challenges presented to them today.
We have a friendly, skilled and diverse team of facilitators and may bring sector-specific guests depending on the nature of the workshop. Workshops can be tailored appropriately to the local contexts of individual schools and colleges.
Workshops are always interactive and involve a variety of media, resources, and perspectives.
Maslaha has experience in delivering interactive workshops around social entrepreneurship, civic engagement, skills-identification, aspiration raising and creative problem solving. We have won a number of awards for our work in social innovation; in February 2012 Maslaha was recognised as one of Britain’s 50 New Radicals, a joint initiative by NESTA and The Observer newspaper to find examples of inspirational people and organisations who are changing Britain for the better. In October 2014, Maslaha was announced the overall winner of the Innovation Mindset Challenge run by Project Innovation and supported by the Rockefeller Foundation and Columbia University.
