Martin Rose is a Senior Consultant to the British Council on the Middle East and North Africa and the former head of the Council’s ‘Our Shared Europe’ programme.
He was a valued consultant in the development of Maslaha’s ‘The Book of Travels’ exhibition and remains a close adviser and supporter of our work.
Martin has worked abroad for the British Council since 1988. His postings have included Baghdad, Rabat, Rome, Brussels, Ottawa and London.
He studied History and Modern Middle Eastern Studies and later, Modern Middle Eastern Studies at Oxford University. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Islamic Studies in Cambridge.
